About the Adventure
Africa Big 7 is a trekking and safari adventure during which ESS clients will experience all the wonders of this continent's famous national parks and wildlife reserves. This unique African adventure, led by experienced trek guides, includes fully escorted 4 wheel drives, sunset safaris, chartered helicopter flights over Victoria Falls, snorkeling and diving with whale sharks and Manta rays off Cape Town and in the pristine waters of Barra Bay. The days will be shared with lions, buffalo, leopards, elephants and rhinos under the African sun, the nights camping under African stars or luxuriating in 4 star hotels.

- ESS has arranged access to many private nature game reserves not commonly visited by others. While on safari, our clients may be lulled to sleep by the sounds of the wildlife while safe inside their luxury tents or perhaps bedded down in deep dark caves.

Domestic flights can be arranged on behalf of remotely trained participants.

- Visas are not required for Australian Passport holders for South Africa.
Equipment
ESS staff will advise clients re appropriate equipment, clothing early in the training program. Additionally, some clients may prefer the extra comfort of using trekking poles and Thermarests (Self inflating Mattress). The benefits of all these items will be discussed during training.

Training
The 12 week training and preparation program has been purposefully designed to prepare clients for the Africa & adventure safari. Developed by Wayne Rodgers and ESS Principal David Armstrong, this program will assist ESS clients to safely and comfortably complete this adventure.ESS will advise clients about the vaccination requirements and process.
