Training hard is designed to improve performance. Working hard, though essential, is insufficient alone to produce your best performance. A planned, evidence-based recovery is an indispensable part of any training program. “Recovery” enhances each athlete’s capacity to revive and restore energy more quickly, reduce the risk of injury and enables them to train harder, as required. AAMI Park facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art pool facilities for active recovery (running or swimming) a heated spa and cold plunge baths for hot/cold contrast recovery. All recovery sessions are overseen by qualified staff, and the pools and equipment are all maintained in accordance with quality and safety guidelines.
